PHP Security and Best Practices

There are two documents that I feel every PHP programmer should read before they write a single line of code:

• Mike Naberezny’s Best Practices of PHP Development
• The PHP Security Consortium’s PHP Security Guide

By reading and understanding both of these, your code will be much more secure and significantly easier to maintain.

This documentation is nothing less than essential. Even if you’ve been writing PHP for many years, I’m sure you will pick up some good tips.
